Liverpool are seemingly moving closer to completing their first transfer of the summer and of the Arne Slot era. The Reds are yet to make any new additions to their squad and now that looks set to change.

Ngumoha is an England Under-16 international and has been tipped for a bright future. Liverpool moved to sign the talented winger, much to the irritation of Chelsea who are thought to be furious about the teenager’s departure.
Liverpool’s move to sign Ngumoha was subject to approval from the Premier League following their five-step investigation process. Now it seems that the deal may be close to completion based on the latest update.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Premier League have completed their fifth and final step into the investigation in Liverpool’s move to sign Ngumoha. As a result, it’s expected that the Reds will formally announce the deal to sign the 16-year-old in the near future, which will see Ngumoha become the first new addition to be signed by Liverpool this summer.
Once the deal has been completed, Ngumoha is expected to link up with Marc-Bridge Wilkinson’s Under-18s at Liverpool’s academy in Kirkby. From there the teenager will aim to rise through the youth ranks similar to what he has already done at Chelsea, with a view to eventually starring for the first-team.
Ngumoha is expected to become the latest academy prospect to be signed by Liverpool over the last few years. He will join Trey Nyoni, Amara Niallo, Stefan Bajcetic and Calum Scanlon who have all been signed by the Reds from rival clubs with a view to becoming future first-team stars.
